Dr. Isabel Salas Murillo, director of VisionVetsCR
Hello and welcome! I'm Dr. Isabel Salas Murillo, a passionate veterinary ophthalmologist with over a decade of experience dedicated to improving the vision and quality of life of animals. My professional journey began at the Escuela de Veterinaria San Francisco de Asís of Costa Rica, where I earned my degree in Veterinary Medicine. Since then, I have specialized in advanced eye care for small animals, with additional studies in Spain.
Through VisionVets, my mission is to offer compassionate, state-of-the-art eye care for your beloved pets. I believe that every animal deserves to see the world clearly and comfortably—and I’m here to make that possible with precise diagnostics, personalized treatments, and surgical excellence.
Whether your pet is struggling with cataracts, eye infections, or simply needs a routine eye checkup, I’m here to help with experience, empathy, and dedication.
